I’m Joy, a Registered Nutritionist with a real passion for sustainable, delicious food. I have written over twenty recipe books and still compete internationally in rowing and sculling. I specialise in nutrition to support sport and exercise, especially for those still training or competing in later years (I’m over 60!), as well as gut health and menopause.

I love to help others to understand how nutrition can play a hugely important role in their lives, whatever their activity level. I want to inspire and motivate people to get excited about food and what it can do for them, as well as tasting great. I share my knowledge through one-to-one consultations (in person or online), giving talks to small or large groups, or by writing articles and books – all based on up-to-date scientific research which I demystify and explain in simple terms that allow people to go away armed with knowledge that can help them to make beneficial changes.
