For a real hit of antioxidants, blueberries and cacao make a perfect combination. This is a great breakfast or brunch smoothie, and the addition of cinnamon may help with blood sugar control too.
Chocolate and Blueberry Smoothie
Serves 2
150g blueberries
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp Greek yoghurt
200ml non-dairy milk
large pinch of ground cinnamon
- Place the blueberries, cacao and yoghurt in a small blender and blend until you have a smooth paste.
- Add the milk and cinnamon and blend until smooth.
Note: If you need a little more sweetness add just 1 tsp maple syrup.
