"Thanks to Joy I've had a pretty healthy last few years and have been coping with those 'changes' without HRT! After completing her very comprehensive and detailed questionnaire about eating habits, energy levels, general and mental health, she suggested some fairly major changes to my diet. I followed her advice religiously for about a year and really felt the benefit. Not only was my mind clearer, my gut behaving itself, I also lost quite a lot of weight and therefore enjoyed an even better sense of wellbeing. 3 years on, I still follow the guidelines, maybe not quite so strictly, but am enjoying being some 8kg lighter, still training and racing hard and generally have had fewer health problems (including winter colds) than before! I love Joy's recipes too. "

International Masters Rower

"Having rowed for 6 days from London to Paris I soon realised that food is an important fuel and without it failure is certain. After being bitten by the 'extreme sports' bug I started to plan my next rowing adventure (rowing an Ocean) and went straight to Joy for nutritional advice. Joy tactfully made me realise that my diet was insufficient for someone doing such a large amount of exercise each day. Joy asked me to up my calorie intake, find a steady routine with my eating habits and she also expressed to me the importance of a low GI, slow energy release breakfast. Joy taught me that 'balance' is key."

“Joy is such an inspiration in the kitchen, she shows me how to whip up the most delicious meals in minutes, with just the simplest ingredients. My cooking has improved ten-fold since I have started regular lessons with her. ”

“I have made so many great meals since my lesson with Joy, she gave me the confidence to cook my own recipes from scratch, without following a recipe to the letter!”
